Lusciousness Internalized

Lusciousness Internalized explores the experience of being engulfed by greenery and water. The blue divide in the painting represents water moving through and around the plants, intensifying their blooms and deepening their color saturation as it nourishes them. When I observe plants, I feel this relationship within my own body. Watching my garden come alive after rainfall following a long drought reminds me of our shared dependence on water. Our bodies are made largely of water, and in that way, I’m reminded of how deeply connected we are to the natural world around us.
